Morrison Water Services and Z-Tech Control Systems, both part of M Group Services’ Water Division, are proud to be supporting United Utilities in the largest proposed investment in water and wastewater infrastructure in the North West for more than a century.
Supporting United Utilities’ strategic ambition to improve river health and create a stronger, greener and healthier North, Morrison Water Services has won a place on the Minor Works Framework and Z-Tech has secured a place on the Lot 2 M&E Installation Framework.
Working with United Utilities and the frameworks other delivery partners, Morrison Water Service and Z-Tech will support smaller, county-based schemes improving process treatment facilities, supporting plans for standardisation across the network and installing storm overflow solutions. The solutions will all support the Better Rivers Programme
Under these frameworks, Morrison Water Services and Z-Tech will leverage its extensive expertise in delivering challenging capital wastewater and clean water solutions, alongside its experience in supporting combined sewer overflows (CSO) and river pollution schemes through its MEICA capabilities.
Both frameworks start in April 2025 and last for five years, with the possibility of a further five-year extension. This cements the longstanding relationship that M Group Services’ Water Division has with United Utilities.
In addition to infrastructure improvements, the contracts will create increased levels of social value, investing in local people and working with local enterprise partnerships to create employment opportunities.
