M Group Services is unifying as M Group, reflecting its ambition to be future-focused, open and collaborative as it continues to grow, delivering essential infrastructure services for life across the UK and Ireland.
From April 2025, the business is simplifying how it refers to and presents itself, moving away from separate brand names and bringing together its £2.5bn portfolio as M Group. With a bold new identity, the transition showcases how M Group is greater than the sum of its parts, well placed to support its clients with the maintenance, renewal and reimagining of essential infrastructure.
Rising to a once-in-a-generation challenge, M Group aims to deliver an infrastructure that the people, communities and economies of the UK and Ireland need, and that the planet deserves. This monumental task takes scale, and M Group is ready to meet it.
M Group’s values are also evolving, reflecting the ambition of the business and its openness to inventiveness and innovation. The values further embody working together to add value and benefit for clients, continuing to ensure responsibility for safety and the environment remain at the heart of delivery.
The Group’s leadership, teams, expertise and commitment to collaboration and client delivery remain unchanged.
With the legacy of over a century, M Group Services was formed from Morrison Utility Services in 2016. Since then, more than 20 businesses have been acquired, and M Group now consists of a team of more than 11,000 experts operating from over 200 locations.
M Group’s new logo pays homage to the original ‘M’ from the Morrison era, featuring a symbol with gradient colours and continuous, connected lines, balancing soft fluidity with precise engineered corners. It pulses with energy, reflecting M Group’s role in keeping infrastructure moving in the UK and Ireland.
The brand’s new strapline ‘essential infrastructure for life’ captures M Group’s ambition to enhance the quality of infrastructure for clients, communities and the planet.
M Group is committed to a sustainable and phased approach to implementation, starting with changes across locations, PPE and vehicles from April 2025.
Andrew Findlay, Chief Executive at M Group, said: “Our new brand reflects our commitment to be the best and most effective partner for our clients. It captures our capacity and capability for maintaining, renewing and reimagining infrastructure to meet the challenges and demands of a changing world.
“Across M Group, we will continue building long lasting partnerships with all our clients to support future demands across infrastructure, confident we have the capabilities and deep expertise to continue to deliver at the pace of change the market demands.
“Our new brand and values are a golden opportunity to look forward and be excited about what we can achieve for our clients in future. Our values – open, responsible, together, ambitious – are the cultural core of our organisation. They reflect who we want to be, creating phenomenal opportunities for professional and business growth.”
