Following a competitive procurement process, M Group has been selected as TfL’s preferred contractor to deliver the critical public infrastructure service.

M Group is proud to announce it has been awarded a five-year contract by Transport for London (TfL) for the maintenance of its bridges and civil structures on the London Underground network, with the potential for an additional three-year extension.

The contract commenced on 8 April 2026 and with the potential extension, may run through to March 2034. This award recognises M Group’s extensive knowledge in upholding the safety and reliability of London’s rail network.

Under the agreement, M Group will deliver planned preventative and reactive maintenance services across TfL’s portfolio of bridges and civil structures, excluding trackside activities. The scope includes technical and safety-critical works designed to maximise asset longevity and operational integrity.

This will include the maintenance of brick tunnels, covered ways, girders and related cable infrastructure, scheduled interventions such as four-yearly condition assessments and the replacement of defective assets and rapid response to emerging faults or damage, minimising disruption and upholding safety.
The contract will also see M Group offer strategic support for inspection planning and asset health governance.

This award is a significant milestone for M Group and highlights the expertise and commitment of our team. We’re proud to play a leading role in maintaining the safety and reliability of London’s transport network, supporting millions of daily journeys."
