Today (25 September 2025) marks the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) Flag Day.

This year marks two important milestones for the global sustainability movement: the 25th anniversary of the United Nations Global Compact and the 10th anniversary of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

We’re a proud member of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative which supports responsible business practices.

The UNGC 17 SDGs are globally recognised goals to achieve a more sustainable future, focusing on areas such as equality, decent work, well-being and climate change.

As a responsible business, we recognise and embrace the SDGs and have embedded many of them within our business to positively contribute to both people and the planet.

We’re actively working towards eight goals:

We now report on our UN Global Compact returns annually. This confirms how we’re continuing to work to make sure our business operations are sustainable and responsible, including the progress we’ve made in governance, human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.

This is part of our values of being a responsible, open, together and ambitious business.
