M Group will continue to support specialised and complex projects as part of Anglian Water’s Integrated Operational Solutions (IOS) alliance, supporting its £11 billion investment programme.

The new five-year contract extends a 10-year partnership between M Group, Anglian Water and its other alliance partners. The framework will deliver £400 million worth of capital asset investment, including specialised and complex projects and programmes across both water and water recycling throughout Anglian Water’s region.

M Group’s experts in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation (MEICA) and civils resource, tailored to work effectively in complex environments, will deliver the scope of works, ranging from emergency pipe repairs to the build of new assets, such as pumping stations.

Building on its close relationship, M Group will continue to work with Anglian Water and its other alliance partners to deliver its AMP8 commitments, share best practices and bring together the right expertise for every challenge. All with the aim of delivering best-in-class operational solutions for the environment and Anglian Water’s customers.

Through the last iteration of the contract, M Group has delivered innovative solutions to support Anglian Water and its customers and will continue to do so over the next five years.

In its commitment to give back to the communities in which it works, M Group will continue to deliver social value as part of the alliance, including supporting Anglian Water’s chosen charity, Water Aid.

Murray Powell, Contract Director at M Group Water, said: “M Group is incredibly proud to have been part of Anglian Water’s Integrated Operational Solutions (IOS) Alliance since 2015, which has now been extended until 2030. Critical areas such as protecting the environment, securing supplies and delivering for their customers are all key deliverables for water companies throughout AMP8. Anglian Water’s pioneering approach towards embedded alliances places it at the forefront of innovative delivery and therefore best placed to address these challenges.

“M Group’s ability to provide effective and efficient delivery of water recycling and water capital maintenance services to Anglian Water over the past two AMPs, has secured its position to support further over the next five years of AMP8 and beyond, supporting Anglian Water in bringing both environmental and social prosperity to the region.”
