With deep capability in capital delivery, digital enablement and customer-focused engineering, M Group Water is well positioned to help shape and deliver Welsh Water’s investment programme.

M Group Water is delighted to announce its appointment as a delivery partner on Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water’s Water (DCWW) Network Alliance (WNA), supporting vital capital investment across Wales and Herefordshire under Lot 2 (Capital).

Harnessing its strong technical capability and collaborative approach, this award builds on M Group Water’s longstanding partnership with DCWW through the Water Network Alliance, further strengthening the collaborative delivery model supporting AMP8 and beyond. M Group Water will continue to support DCWW’s long-term vision to earn the trust of customers every day, delivering safe, reliable water services for current and future generations.

Under Lot 2 Work Package 1, M Group Water will help deliver essential capital projects including mains replacement and rehabilitation across low, medium and high-complexity schemes, excavation, repair and replacement of pressurised water network assets, 24/7 emergency response to burst mains and wider developer services and capital enhancement projects.

M Group Water will work with its delivery partners to align behaviours to support DCWW in its 2050 priorities. This will include improving supply reliability, delivering cleaner, clearer drinking water and moving towards a lead-free Wales through integrated public/private lead service pipe replacement.

The alliance will help secure future-ready infrastructure and resilient water networks for communities within the region. As part of the alliance, M Group Water will support jobs, apprenticeships, Small Medium Enterprises (SME’s) and skills across the areas in which it works.

“We are proud to play a central role in delivering Welsh Water’s AMP8 and long-term investment ambitions. The Water Network Alliance exemplifies collaborative delivery at its best - shared purpose, joint problem-solving and a commitment to doing what is right for customers and communities.
“Our teams are ready to bring their expertise, innovation and energy to support Welsh Water in delivering a more resilient, sustainable and high-performing network for the people of Wales.
“M Group Water looks forward to working with DCWW and its delivery partners in its shared goal to deliver outcomes that will benefit communities across Wales for decades to come.”
