Our M Group Highways civil engineering team recently came together with the Community and Partnerships Officer at Colchester City Council to support local charities Boys & Men and RAMA.

Following a refurbishment at our office, a number of monitors became available for donation. Working with Rachaelle Litwin, Project Manager for the Digital Access Support Team (DAST), we donated the equipment to the charities, making sure our donation reached those who need it most.

DAST work to reduce the digital divide by providing free digital support to residents across North East Essex, helping improve access to technology and digital service for vulnerable communities,

Delivering 37 monitors to Colchester Town Hall, our donation has supported digital inclusion by:

  • Providing access to technology for hands-on digital skills development.
  • Empowering individuals and communities to engage more confidently with digital tools.
  • Supporting charities in delivering vital services more effectively.
  • Helping individuals access online services, education, and employment opportunities.

Boys & Men UK is a community organisation that empowers men and boys to connect, grow and reach their full potential. RAMA is a voluntary organisation supporting refugees, asylum seekers and individuals with no access to public funds, helping families and individuals navigate the challenges of settling into a new environment.

Across M Group, we’re working to find and create opportunities to support the communities where we work.
