Across M Group, we’ve launched our fleet decarbonisation strategy—a bold step toward a sustainable future. Our dedicated efforts have been captured in a comprehensive plan to reduce our carbon footprint, sharing the strides we’ve made so far and the exciting initiatives on the horizon.

Aligned with our Group Science Based Target, we aim for a 42% reduction in Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2030, using 2022 as our baseline. As of August 2024, 31% of our fleet is fully electric, with 38% of our company cars now hybrid.
To further support this green transition, we’ve launched a new company car and salary sacrifice scheme, empowering our colleagues to embrace electric vehicles (EVs) with ease.
Here are some of the standout highlights from our innovative strategy:
Advanced telematics implementation: We’re leveraging cutting-edge telematics to gain insights into our operations, identifying where EV solutions can be integrated today and in the future, all while managing emissions and engine idling effectively.
- Eco-driving initiatives: With trials in over 40% of our commercial fleet, we’re promoting eco-driving behaviours that enhance road safety while minimising our environmental impact.
- Electric vehicle trials: We're collaborating with manufacturers to explore the latest electric vehicle technologies, ensuring we deploy them seamlessly without disrupting our operations or client service.
- Exploration of alternative Fuels: Our commitment to sustainability extends to the use of Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) and ongoing research into other alternative fuels.
- Collaborative decarbonisation: We’re working closely to drive a structured and progressive approach to decarbonisation across our Group.
ESG drivers shape our sector, driving innovation to tackle client challenges.
